“And then at one point, she had her fan and her glasses, and she reduced her glass, and she stated, ‘Did you sing ‘Don’t Rain on My Parade’ for me tonight?’ And I stated, ‘Yes I did, Ms. Streisand.’ She stated, ‘You were great,'” she remembered, simulating Streisand.
“And then she got up and. I’ve given that fulfilled her. Ever since, she’s been entirely thoughtful,” Menzel continued. “But that night, I believed, ‘Is that excellent? Was that an excellent compliment or a bad compliment?'”
Evaluating from the not impressed search Barbra Streisand’s face in the above clip, it was most likely as great a compliment as anybody might get. Once again, when’s the last time Barbra Streisand’s been impressed by anything
