Gavin Newsom recommended Paxlovid to deal with COVID-19: How it works, who's eligible, and how to get it

Gov. Gavin Newsom revealed on Twitter he is favorable for COVID-19 and is getting Paxlovid treatments, which triggered concerns about how the treatment works and its ease of access. KCRA 3 spoke to Dr. Vanessa Walker of Pulmonary Medicine Associates, who responded to a few of those concerns.
