“ Headache Circumstance,“ a book out next week on President Trump’s handling of COVID, reports that he stated he hoped it would get his previous nationwide security consultant, John Bolton, who had actually simply composed a dynamite tell-all about his time in the White Home.
When asked about the quote, Bolton provided Axios’ Jonathan Swan this traditional reply: “Fooled me– I believed he was counting on his legal representatives.”
Here’s the passage by Washington Post reporter Yasmeen Abutaleb and Damian Paletta in “Problem Situation,” out Tuesday:
Trump had actually attempted to joke about the infection for months, in some cases even buffooning individuals who had actually ended up being ill. … At one conference a number of months [before Trump got sick], NEC director Larry Kudlow had actually suppressed a cough. The space had actually frozen. … Trump had actually waved his hands in front of his face, as if to jokingly fend off any flying infection particles, and after that broke a smile. “I was simply kidding,” he ‘d stated. “Larry will never ever get COVID. He will beat it with his optimism.” … “John Bolton,” he had actually stated … “Ideally COVID gets John.”
The authors’ sources believed Trump was lethal severe.
