COVID-19: 'Extremely unlikely' coronavirus originated from Wuhan laboratory

Detectives from the World Health Organisation say it is “extremely unlikely” the unique coronavirus came from a laboratory incident in China.

According to a joint mission investigating the origins of the pandemic, the most likely cause of the initial outbreak was the virus leaping from an “intermediary host types” to humans.
