WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States damaged multilateral cooperation and the World Health Company in recent years, and need to not be “pointing fingers” at China and other countries that supported the WHO during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chinese Embassy stated on Saturday.

A representative for the embassy, responding to a statement from U.S. nationwide security adviser Jake Sullivan, stated China welcomed Washington’s choice to reengage with the WHO, however it must hold itself to the “highest requirements” rather of taking goal at other countries.

Sullivan on Saturday called on China to make available information from the earliest days of the COVID-19 break out, pointing out “deep issues” about the way the findings of the WHO’s investigation into the origins of COVID-19 were interacted.
