The aurline has not reacted directly to the 38- year-old Vampire Journals alum, who made his remarks after millions of Americans flew to locations over the Christmas holiday in spite of cautions from the Centers for Illness Control and Prevention to prevent gatherings.

” And this is precisely why your airline company is consistently ranked as the worst airline in America.

He included, “Please retweet this [if] you concur @united is the worst airline company in America. I will NEVER EVER fly @united – I do not care if they are the only airline company flying to a particular city. I ‘d rather take a train or a boat. Total neglect for consumers or virus issues. They might care less. @united.

While United Airlines does not obstruct middle seats, it needs passengers over the age of 2 to use face coverings, has partnered with Clorox to improve cleaning and decontaminating treatments and has completely gotten rid of change costs for most economy and premium cabin tickets for travel within the U.S. or global travel coming from the U.S.

On the 2020 Airline company Quality Ranking list, United ranks No. 9 out of the United States’ 10 largest airlines.

Although most U.S. airline companies are not blocking sales of its middle seats, Delta Airlines, JetBlue and Alaska Airlines are doing so temporarily and many airlines are limiting capability on their flights.

” Boycott @united fly @Delta instead,” Wesley tweeted “Delta cleans out their seats and makes sure it’s not overcrowded. They appreciate your security even if it costs them money. @united could care less.”

He included, “Time and time again I see @united flight attendants turning a blind eye to people who don’t wear masks. Individuals eat & consume on planes & need to take off masks to do so.

In response to Merkley’s tweet, American Airlines said in a statement to the Washington Post, “We have numerous layers of defense in location for those who fly with us, including required face coverings, improved cleansing treatments, and a pre-flight COVID-19 symptom checklist– and we’re supplying additional versatility for consumers to alter their itinerary, also.”
