Public Health Sudbury & Districts is reporting a new COVID-19 case in its service location, the 127 th validated case in the region considering that the pandemic started, and the second reported this weekend.
The new case is explained a close contact of a confirmed case. The person, who is from Greater Sudbury, was tested Oct. 31, and is self-isolating.
Through contact tracing, Public Health will alert all close contacts directly. If you are not contacted by Public Health, you are not considered a close contact.
With the brand-new case, there are currently 7 active cases of COVID-19 in Greater Sudbury.
