Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp revealed Mohamed Salah tested unfavorable for coronavirus and will go through the required tests ahead of Atalanta.
The Orobici face Liverpool at Anfield in the Champions League this week and Salah seemed set to lose out due to COVID-19
After the 3-0 win against Leicester in the Premier League on Sunday, Klopp said the Egypt global had actually tested negative.
” That’s what I’ve heard, a negative today,” Klopp informed Sky Sports. “I believe from now he’s pretty typical in all the screening.
” Tomorrow we have UEFA testing and I’m quite sure he will be in that.
” He can train with us tomorrow. There are two tests in the next 2 days, so he will be checked.”
Mohamed Salah scored one and assisted Sadio Mané in the 5-0 win at the Gewiss Arena ahead of the global break, when Diogo Jota scored a hat-trick for the Reds.
