While Italy’s day-to-day death tolls have been the highest in Europe over recent days, the rise in medical facility admissions and intensive care tenancy has slowed.
When Italy’s second wave of the epidemic was speeding up quickly in the first half of November, medical facility admissions were increasing by around 1,000 per day, while intensive care occupancy was increasing by about 100 per day.
