WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Senate Republican Bulk Leader Mitch McConnell stated on Tuesday he agreed with President Donald Trump’s choice to pull the plug on settlements on a new coronavirus relief expense.

Asked if he backed Trump’s choice, McConnell told press reporters at the Capitol that he did. “I think his view was that they were not going to produce a result and we require to concentrate on what’s achievable,” McConnell said.
