Raptors: Scotiabank Arena will not host U.S. voter registration due to COVID-19

TORONTO– Scotiabank Arena will not be utilized for citizen registration for the Nov. 3 U.S. presidential election due to issues around COVID-19

The Toronto Raptors had actually planned to open their house arena so Americans living in Toronto could sign up to vote, but revealed Thursday that due to the global pandemic, increasing case numbers in Toronto and Ontario, and limitations on indoor gatherings, voting registration will not be held in individual.

The Raptors are urging citizens to request their ballots online.

The Raptors said qualified citizens can sign up at FVAP.gov.
