Vice President Mike Pence’s Chief of Personnel, Marc Short, evaluated favorable for the coronavirus on Saturday.
” Today, Marc Short, Chief of Staff to the Vice President, evaluated positive for COVID-19, started quarantine and assisting in the contact tracing procedure,” a declaration from the vice president’s workplace to press reporters checked out.
Brief is among Pence’s closest assistants and spends a lot of time with the vice president, who continues as the head of the White Home Coronavirus Task Force.
Both Vice President Pence and Mrs. Pence tested negative for the infection, the White House verified.
Pence will continue his project schedule in the last days before the election and will follow CDC standards.
Pence’s outside consultant Marty Obst also evaluated positive for the virus on Saturday.
