JOHANNESBURG – The health department said 1,745 new COVID-19 cases have been reported.
This brings the total number of infections to 676,084.
It said 132 more people have succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours.
South Africa’s death toll is now 16,886.
Ninety percent of the people infected with the coronavirus have recovered.
