England females's friendly with Germany off because of positive coronavirus test

The friendly was set to mark the start of Phil Neville’s final year in charge of the women’s national group

England females’s friendly with Germany on Tuesday has been cancelled after a member of the team’s backroom staff checked positive for coronavirus.

The Lionesses, whose last global game was at the SheBelieves Cup in March, were due to play two-time world champs Germany in Wiesbaden.
