Coronavirus: Regeneron co-founder talks about President Trump's antibody treatment

Dr. George Yancopoulos on Saturday discussed his business’s speculative antibody treatment, Regeneron, that was administered to U.S. President Donald Trump after he tested favorable for COVID-19, saying it was “confirming” to see Trump’s medical team choose to administer the drug.

He went on to describe that in patients who need the drug “the most,” those who have the greatest levels of infection in their body and whose own immune action was doing “the poorest job,” would see the antibody mixed drink work as a boost or substitute.

Yancopoulos stated that he would offer the drug to himself or to a liked one, stating that’s the standard the business sets when identifying if something has the potential to be efficient, though he admitted he was biased as he was co-founder.
