There’s evidence of growing confusion among the general public about the brand-new Covid constraints being put in location in the north-east of England.

The confusion was added to by the Prime Minister Boris Johnson and a federal government minister, who stopped working to give precise answers about the information of the brand-new constraints.

Boris Johnson released an apology for offering a misleading response about the limitations, after another Minister, Gillian Keegan, had said she might not supply an answer.

The brand-new guidelines cover areas of north-east England and ban homes from mixing inside your home including in clubs and dining establishments.

It’s also been revealed that in parts of Wales another half a million individuals will be subject to tighter limitations from Thursday.

Huw Edwards provides BBC News at 10 reporting by Fiona Trott, Hywel Griffith and health editor Hugh Pym.
