Ahead of the new “Borat” film’s Oct. 23 release on Amazon Prime, Sacha Baron Cohen appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in character as Borat, where in addition to flaunting a clip from the movie, he attempted to administer an exceptionally inaccurate kind of coronavirus test to Kimmel.
He likewise stayed in character the whole time, consisting of displaying Borat’s hallmark antisemitism (suggestion: Cohen himself is Jewish and uses the gag to spoof racists).
So, as Cohen-as-Borat came out onstage and sat down, he said he wasn’t comfortable starting the interview up until he verified for himself that Kimmel wasn’t sick with COVID-19 This very first involved “basic survey,” that included questions like:
” In the last week, have you remained in the presence for more than 15 minutes of any Jews?” Borat asked.
” Yes. All of our authors and none of our camera people are Jewish,” Kimmel responded.

After validating that was “extremely bad,” Borat asked “As a member of Hollywood elite, have you recently intoxicated any un-pasteurized kids’s blood?” which, naturally, references a popular antisemitic trope.
” No,” Kimmel said while chuckling.
” Really? Not in any pizza parlors recently?” Borat asked, a most likely recommendation to the racist right wing conspiracy theory known as QAnon.
After some more back and forth, Borat then said he needed to do a physical exam– in this case, a temperature level check. Other than it was a thermometer strapped to the end of a very long stick which Borat threatened to push into Kimmel’s behind. Just as the first “Borat” had a crazy long title, so does its sequel, or “Subsequent Moviefilm,” as it’s called. The full title for “Borat 2” is “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Shipment of Prodigious Allurement to American Program for Make Benefit Once Remarkable Nation of Kazakhstan.”
