Public Health Sudbury & Districts is reporting two brand-new cases of COVID-19 this evening. Both cases remain in Greater Sudbury.
In one of the new cases, the person contracted the virus from another known case, though the origin of that individual’s exposure is unidentified. The origin of the other new case revealed this evening is listed as being travel-related.
Both people were checked on Sept. 23 and both are self-isolating.
These new cases bring the total variety of confirmed cases in the region covered by Public Health Sudbury to104 There are presently 4 recognized active cases.
