LONDON– Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said on Monday she was concerned about a backlog of unique coronavirus test results which was beginning to affect the speedy reporting of the state of the national outbreak.
” We now have an extremely serious issue about the stockpile of test results being dealt with by the UK lab network,” Sturgeon told press reporters. “This apparent delay in turnaround is causing us concern.” (Reporting by Person Faulconbridge; modifying by Michael Holden)
