talkRADIO’s Julia Hartley-Brewer has identified the government’s “guideline of six” coronavirus social restriction as “dumb” as she took on Transport Secretary Grant Shapps over the move.
” You are presently safeguarding, as a federal government minister, a guideline – I know you understand it’s a silly guideline, I know it’s a dumb guideline, everyone listening understands it’s a foolish rule and yet the government is imposing this rule,” she challenged.
Mr Shapps responded: “Because it’s much easier to follow it’s easier for the authorities to analyze, it’s easier for clubs and restaurants to translate, and will actually therefore keep the virus down.”
