Coronavirus infections in India surged past 5 million on Wednesday, piling pressure on hospitals facing unreliable products of oxygen that they require to treat tens of thousands of important clients.

The health ministry reported 90,123 new infections on Wednesday, taking the total caseload to 5.
At least 6%of India’s almost 1 million active cases require oxygen assistance, health ministry authorities Rajesh Bhushan told press reporters.
