Imperial College Health care NHS Trust medical professionals utilize Microsoft HoloLens amidst Coronavirus pandemic

Among the biggest NHS rely on England is using Microsoft HoloLens on its Covid-19 wards to keep doctors safe as they help patients with the infection.

Personnel at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust are using the mixed-reality headset as they work on the frontline in the most high-risk location of some of London’s busiest health centers.

HoloLens with Dynamics 365 Remote Assist uses Microsoft Teams to send out a protected live video-feed to a computer screen in a nearby room, enabling health care groups to see whatever the physician treating Covid-19 patients can see, while remaining at a safe range.

It also allows doctors using HoloLens to raise X-Rays and hold video calls while seeing clients.
