A total of 1 861 brand-new Covid-19 cases have been determined in the past 24- hour cycle, with 77 more individuals losing their lives to the infection.
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize stated, since Thursday, the cumulative variety of found Covid-19 cases was 667049.
” The cumulative variety of tests conducted to date is 4 102 162, with 18 405 brand-new tests conducted since the last report. Sadly, we report 77 more Covid-19 related deaths, with 58 from Gauteng, 8 from KwaZulu-Natal, 7 from Eastern Cape and four from Western Cape. This brings the total number of Covid-19- associated deaths to 16283.
” We extend our condolences to the enjoyed among the left and thank the health care employees that treated the deceased patients. Our healings now stand at 595916 which translates to a healing rate of 89.3%,” said Mkhize.
