The pandemic is still at large, believe it or not. Yet, people are stepping out as if, the pandemic never existed. The novel coronavirus that originated in Wuhan, China last year is still affecting a lot of people in various countries. A lot of celebs were also tested positive for the virus. And now, popular actress Tamannaah‘s parents have been tested positive as well. Taking to her Twitter handle, the actress shared the news and sought the blessings and prayers for her family. Tamannaah and the rest of her family members have been tested negative. They are complying with all the precautionary measures as of now. “My parents were showing mild COVID-19 symptoms over the weekend and as a precautionary measure everyone at hoe underwent tests immediately. The results have just come in, and unfortunately, my parents have tested positive. The necessary authorities have been updated of their situation and we are complying with the precautionary guidelines. The rest of the family members, including myself and the staff have tested negative. By the Grace of God they are coping well and all your prayers and blessings will put them on the road to recovery.” (sic) the statement read. Hitherto, Janhvi Kapoor‘s staff member had been tested positive for coronavirus as well. Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and even Aaradhya had been tested positive of COVID-19 lately. Previously, Anupam Kher‘s mother and his brother, Raju Kher and family had been tested positive as well. Producer Karim Morani along with his daughters Zoa and Shaza Morani were also found positive. Kanika Kapoor was also tested positive in the initial lockdown days.
Since shootings resumed two months ago, there have been cases of celebs testing positive for the coronavirus. Parth Samthaan of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 had been tested positive. Recently, Sachin Tyagi from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and other crew members had been tested positive which forced the makers to stall the shoot.
