COVID-19: Nigeria's total verified cases now 53,477 as NCDC records 160 fresh infections

Abuja (Sundiata Post)– The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria have actually risen to 53,477 as Nigeria Centre for Disease Control taped 160 fresh cases on Friday.

The report released by the agency through it’s twitter handle exposed that a total of 12, 460 clients are still in various isolation centres throughout the country as 41,017 clients have been treated and released from the total confirmed cases.

The NCDC’s report likewise highlighted that 1,011 deaths have been tape-recorded because the pandemic was first reported in Nigeria in February,2020
