Texas could turn into one of the states worst affected by coronavirus after it was amongst the first to raise lockdown measures.
Its governor has ordered most locals to use face coverings in public areas in reaction to mounting pressure from regional authorities having problem with a rise in COVID-19 infections.
The state struck a record of more than 8,000 virus cases in a day on Wednesday, up from about 2,400 2 weeks ago.
