JOHANNESBURG – Health Minister Zweli Mkhize says Gauteng leads the COVID-19 rise.
Mkhize says a few of the health facilities real estate COVID-19 clients are not yet full.
” We are here to see how things are tying up in regards to additional beds being available so that no one ought to be turned away and told that there are no beds available.”
” There are those who might not be admitted which is due to the fact that of the medical professional’s decision. No person should be turned away because there is no area. It needs to be due to the fact that the scientific judgement is that you should be dealt with elsewhere and not at the medical facility,” said Mkhize.
The minister checked out the Nasrec and Lenasia South Medical facility quarantine sites on Monday.
