In US news and current events today, COVID-19 has touched every part of the U.S., with the number of confirmed coronavirus cases increasing and the amount of COVID19 deaths getting larger. Politics aside, health experts have found that if President Donald Trump acted sooner to address the coronavirus pandemic, the COVID-19 death toll in the U.S. wouldn’t be as high as it is.
In this brutal new ad from the Lincoln Project, Republicans are slamming Donald Trump for his response to the coronavirus pandemic. ‘There’s mourning in America, and under the leadership of Donald Trump, our country is weaker, and sicker, and poorer. And now, Americans are asking, if we have another 4 years like this, will there even be an America?,’ the ad says.
The Lincoln Project is a collective of Republicans who oppose President Donald Trump. One of its founders is George Conway, the husband of Kellyanne Conway.
