Coronavirus outbreak: B.C. health officials verify 7 brand-new cases of COVID-19

British Columbia’s provincial health officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, revealed 7 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases in the province to46

Amongst the brand-new cases is the very first reported on Vancouver Island, which Henry stated is one of three cases connected to take a trip to Egypt.

Henry stated health officials have also identified two brand-new cases of neighborhood transmission through B.C.’s influenza monitoring testing.
